ZZZ Version History

Official-source dates for Zenless Zone Zero

Sources checked

This ZZZ version history is a source-linked timeline of selected launch milestones and recent releases. It includes the original launch and the verified Version 3.0 through 3.3 update dates. It is not a complete list of every intervening patch: an omitted version is a coverage gap, not evidence that the version never existed. Each dated row points to an official announcement so you can inspect the record behind the entry.

How to read the timeline

The event column is as important as the date column. An original launch time describes the beginning of a service, whereas an update notice may begin with a maintenance start. Neither label should silently become the other when information is copied into a calendar. Keeping the event type visible makes a timeline easier to compare with announcements, videos, or a player’s own records without creating false disagreements about the same day.

Version identifiers also need careful handling. They are labels, not decimal measurements: sorting them as numbers can put a future multi-digit minor version in the wrong place. In a personal archive, keep the full version label as text and sort the dated records using an actual date field. Add a source link beside each entry so another reader can check which event the date describes.

The original launch is a separate milestone

The official global-launch announcement identifies July 4, 2024 at 10:00 UTC+8 as the release time. That is the starting point included in this selected history. It does not supply release dates for every later patch. A useful archive preserves that distinction instead of calculating all subsequent dates forward from launch or pretending that the gap between two rows contains no updates. For a returning player, a milestone table can orient a search without answering every content question. Find the version associated with the period you remember, then open that update’s notice for its own details. If the patch you need is not listed here, look it up directly in the official news archive rather than choosing the nearest date and assuming the content is equivalent.

Recent version boundaries

For the recent sequence, Version 3.1’s announcement gives an end boundary of September 9, 2026 at 06:00 UTC+8, and Version 3.2’s announcement gives October 21 at the same offset and time. Version 3.3’s published end boundary is December 2 at 06:00 UTC+8. These entries are useful cross-checks against the next maintenance-start row; they do not establish each channel’s closing time. A consistent-looking sequence is still a set of individual records. When maintaining your own timeline, preserve the announcement for each date rather than replacing the source column with a formula. A later patch can have a different schedule, and an estimated duration can change without invalidating an earlier historical release date. Evidence for a past event should stay separate from a prediction about a future event.

Version history is not banner history

A version table groups software updates; a banner archive groups individual channel windows and featured lineups. Those records overlap, but they are not interchangeable. Use the banner schedule when you want a confirmed channel overview. Use the detailed 3.2 release guide or 3.3 release guide when you need maintenance timing and regional conversions for one patch.

This distinction also helps with screenshots shared without context. Before assigning an image to a version, look for its publication date, visible version number, and official caption. A repost date alone does not establish when the pictured content first appeared. Likewise, a channel rerun should not automatically be treated as a character’s original debut. Keep unresolved fields open until you find the announcement that answers the specific question.

Coverage and future entries

This page currently covers selected milestones rather than claiming an exhaustive patch archive. Versions between the original launch and the recent sequence are intentionally not assigned dates here without their own checked notices. Future exact playable opening times that lack a verified announcement remain not officially confirmed. This includes treating the end of Version 3.3 as insufficient evidence for an exact Version 3.4 server-reopening hour.

To extend a reliable history, add one verified entry at a time with its title, date, event type, and official source. If two notices appear to conflict, check their timezones and whether one is a pre-download announcement or a later update. Return to the countdown homepage for its separate timer, while retaining this page as a dated reference rather than a prediction engine.
